Almost 20 years ago, I was introduced to the life transforming practice of yoga. I began to use it in my teaching of creative writing with children. When I had my own children, I played yoga with them at home and in their classrooms.
I know that yoga can be intrinsically interwoven into a child's daily life to insure healthy growth, development and education. Each child naturally uses their body, their mind and their spirit in their journey of cognitive, emotional, intuitive and spiritual exploration. I created YogaKids to embody and manifest these truths and to teach children to love themselves and the amazing feats they can accomplish.
Since the creation of YogaKids, we have witnessed thousands of parents, teachers, healthcare professionals and children from around the world coming together to embrace our teachings, philosophy, trainings and classes. From London to Singapore, from Vancouver to Sidney, YogaKids International spreads the YogaKids message of peace, understanding and education.
At YKI, we pass this gift on with our every breath. We live our passion as we build a community of service and enlightenment across borders.
