This fundamental, experiential training program includes an overview of YogaKids poses, techniques, concepts and methodology developed by yoga-for-children pioneer, Marsha Wenig, during her 20 years of study, research, practice and teaching yoga to children. There are no prerequisites for participation in the Foundations Training except a desire to help children by teaching about the benefits of yoga for children.

E. Observe a YogaKids class
F. Chakras
Homework: Review material and practice the poses and techniques with each other.

Day 3 - 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
A. Advanced Training information

C. Awesome Anatomy/Posture poses

D. Mind Mapping/Lesson plans
E. Prepare a YogaKids class with your group

Day 4 - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

D. Closing circle and certificate of completion

Completion of Foundations is the prerequisite to participate in the acclaimed YogaKids Advanced Training Practicum (mentored home-study) and Advanced Training Intensive (on-site 8-day seminar) to earn the designation of Certified YogaKids Teacher.

YogaKids International awards you a Certificate of completion for 32 hours of training.
