Dancing Feet Yoga and YogaKids International offers you a week of peace in paradise in March 2008. We have found the most beautiful small hotel in Los Troncones, a secluded oceanfront village just 30 minutes north of Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Known as Present Moment Retreat, this yoga hotel offers a sumptuous combination of an eco-friendly environment and a high
level of comfort, situated on a pristine, white sand oceanfront oasis.
Gloriously positioned on miles of virtually deserted beach, the hotel has an organic vegetarian restaurant, a beautiful swimming pool, palapa cottage accommodations and a covered open air platform to practice yoga as we listen to the sounds of the sea and are rhythmically synchronized with our breath.
Please book early to make sure that you may access the perfect space at this nature friendly resort to meet your families needs.

Whether yoga practice is part of your daily life, or whether you have never once tried to touch your fingers to your toes, attending a week-long yoga vacation with veteran yoga instructors Don and Marsha Wenig is pure pleasure. Blessed with a tremendous sense of humor and a vast appreciation of the effects of life on everyone's flexilibity, the founders of Dancing Feet Yoga and YogaKids International offer classes that gently lead one to increased strength and physical harmony.
Don Wenig is a reknowned teacher of teachers, who trains adults to be yoga instructors, while Marsha is quite literally the nationally recognized founder of a system of teaching yoga to children known as YogaKids. With these two as your instructors, you can be assured of a wonderful experience and notice marked improvements in your sense of wellbeing by the end of the week.
Singles, Couples and FamiliesThis week offers opportunities for individuals, couples and families. In addition to Don and Marsha's twice-daily adult yoga classes, your trip with us can include daily yoga for your children. Whether you want to sunbathe by the pool or beachside, read a book, drink margaritas, enjoy a siesta or engage in more strenuous activity, you will find all is possible.
In between the morning and evening yoga classes, Present Moment Retreat can arrange such delights as horseback riding on the beach, hiking in the Sierra Madre Mountains, and kayaking on a river where it meets the ocean. There are ancient ruins to visit in the south and a fabulous waterfall tour possible where you and your children can swim in a clear, natural pool under the sun. Surfing in this area of Mexico is famous, although the water in front of our hotel is too calm for surfing. If you wish to take surfing lessons on your trip, this can be arranged at locations fairly close to the hotel. We are also 30 minutes from the bustling fishing village of Zihuatanejo and the opulent resorts of Ixtapa. Whatever you predilection, you will find it.
Present Moment Retreat offers a variety of spa treatments designed to make you feel heavenly. Present Moment's massage therapies embrace international techniques including Thai, Balinese, Lomi Lomi, Champassage(Indian Head Massage) and Sukothai. Their methods, applied with aromatic oils can loosen tight muscles, improve circulation, soothe the mind, nurture the spirit and promote a sense of well being. Luxuriate in the bliss of your muscles being kneaded as your tension slips away. Each session includes time to unwind with a cooling footbath, an exhilarating outdoor garden shower and refreshing herbal drinks.
To pursue a colorful night life, a short taxi ride will take you to either Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo for restaurants, bars, shopping, dancing and shows.
kidsThe hotel's staff welcomes children and this protected environment is ideal for their sense of freedom and play. Children can come into the dining room at any time during its regular hours and order food, signing for whatever they order to their parents' room. This is a time for a child to play in his or her body, far from computer games and the somewhat stagnating effects of television.
The fee for two adults for the week is $2,200. This includes lodging, yoga, and breakfast each day for two people. Children under age 11 are free in the room and are entitled to free breakfasts as well . There is an additional yoga charge for each child of $175. Children over the age of 11 pay an additional hotel rate of $95 per day for room and breakfast. The fee for a single adult is $1850.
